About LinkedIn Labs | Go to LinkedIn.com

LinkedIn Labs hosts a small set of projects and experimental features built by the employees of LinkedIn. We share them here as demonstrations and to solicit feedback, but please remember that they are intended to be low-maintenance experiments, and may be added and removed over time based on popularity and support. Frequently Asked Questions

What is LinkedIn Labs?
LinkedIn Labs shares projects and experimental features built by LinkedIn employees. LinkedIn employees are encouraged to work on innovative ideas that inspire, and some of these are worth sharing. We hope you find them interesting and useful.

What do you mean by experiments?
Experiments are products and ideas that we’re testing, they are meant to be low-maintenance and may have some kinks to work out. Over time some experiments may become full production features, while others may eventually disappear from labs. Check back regularly as we’re always working on something new!

Who builds these things, anyway?
Most of the projects on LinkedIn Labs are built by employees at LinkedIn in their spare time, or during one of our frequent internal Hackdays. Learn more about the LinkedIn engineering culture on our careers page.
